These works are specified by the French electricity company (EDF) and include:
Design:
EDF designs the very high voltage networks. The contrators are responsible for designing the foundation blocks for pylons and poles.
Construction:
This involves the constructing the foundations, assembling pylons, installing accessories and unrolling and adjusting cables.
Maintenance:
This involves replacing supports and accessories that have worn out or been damaged by storms and joining broken cables.
