There are three stages to mounting a line.
- From left to right: lifting, supply and unrolling the cable (photos DR).
1. Constructing the foundations for the pylons
The concrete foundations are designed on the basis of the nature of the soil and the loads, in particular the climatic loads, the structures carry.
2. Lifting
The pylons are supplied in several sections which are lifted by crane when the terrain permits or helicopter if not.
3. Installation of accessories and unrolling the cable
After the insolators have been attached, the cables are unrolled, sometimes under mechanical tension.
